Flexible Nasolaryngoscopy is an examination of your nose, voicebox and upper respiratory tract. During the procedure, a small, flexible, fiberoptic scope (about half the width of a pencil) is inserted into one side of the nose, permitting your doctor to see the curves and small spaces of your nose and larynx. Most people find the procedure to be very tolerable. Your doctor will use numbing medicine to make you as comfortable as possible.
